Job summary

BlueSky Resource Solutions is partnering with a large manufacturer to hire an Interim Director of Finance & Shared Services in Atlanta. The role focuses on overseeing AP and Payroll, driving process improvements, and strengthening internal controls during a 4-6 month interim period.

The Director will lead the Shared Services team, manage day-to-day operations, and partner with senior Finance and business leaders to ensure accurate financial processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Finance/Shared Services experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Experience overseeing Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.
• Experience managing large, multi-entity organizations preferred.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Shared Services organization with emphasis on AP and Payroll.
• Manage day-to-day operations, workflow, controls, and service levels.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Partner with senior Finance and operational leadership on shared services initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the existing team during the interim period.
