Job summary

Place Services Inc. is seeking a hands-on Manager of Purchasing & Payables (AP) at our Woodstock, GA headquarters. You will lead day-to-day AP and Purchasing operations, supervise staff, and coordinate with Procurement to ensure accurate, compliant payments across all divisions.

The role reports to the Corporate Controller and requires a strong process discipline, vendor compliance, and a track record of operational excellence in construction.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable and/or Purchasing experience with staff supervision.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience across multiple entities or divisions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and develop AP staff with daily guidance and performance feedback.
• Oversee full-cycle AP process: invoice receipt, coding, approval routing and payment processing in Acumatica.
• Manage weekly check runs, ACH and wire payment batches to ensure timely payments.
• Ensure vendor/subcontractor compliance (insurance, lien waivers, licensing, W-9s) prior to payment.
• Support month-end close activities related to AP, including reconciliations and aging review.
