Job summary

Energy Project Solutions (EPS) seeks an Interconnection & Transmission Regulatory Manager to lead regulatory engagement and interconnection strategy for utility-scale solar and BESS projects in Puerto Rico. You will coordinate with utilities, regulators, and project teams.

The ideal candidate fluent in Spanish and English, with a BS in electrical engineering and 7+ years in interconnection, transmission planning, or energy regulatory affairs, will help move projects through complex processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years in electric utility interconnection, transmission planning, power systems engineering, or energy regulatory affairs.
• Hands-on interconnection experience for utility-scale projects (solar PV + BESS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy across a portfolio of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Coordinate with LUMA Energy, PREPA, and other utility stakeholders.
• Review interconnection studies and equipment qualification.
• Coordinate transmission planning and network upgrade considerations.
• Negotiate and administer interconnection agreements with legal support.
• Monitor PREB proceedings and utility tariff filings for regulatory alignment.
