Job summary

Blue Kite Wellness is seeking an Intensive Home-Based Support staff to assist children, youth, and families in Quincy, IL. You will work in homes and communities, applying therapeutic interventions under clinical direction, and collaborating with caregivers and the IHBC team.

The role involves scheduling flexibility, travel to client homes, and adherence to safety plans. Compensation includes hourly pay and benefits with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Meets current Illinois qualifications for a Mental Health Professional under Illinois requirements or equivalent.
• Two years of experience with children and families.
• Ability to engage youth and caregivers and build respectful relationships.
• Ability to implement interventions under clinical direction and reinforce coping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive Home-Based Support services to eligible children, youth, and families.
• Carry out support interventions under the clinical direction of IHBC or supervisor.
• Help youth practice coping, emotional-regulation, and behavioral skills in real-world settings.
• Support parents and caregivers in strengthening family functioning.
• Apply strengths-based, solution-focused approaches and Pathways tools as directed.
• Observe interactions and provide information for assessments and planning.
• Participate as an active Child and Family Team member and provide updates.
• Support safety plans and communicate concerns to the clinical team.
• Complete timely documentation and participate in supervision and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
