Job summary

Blue Kite Wellness is seeking an Intensive Home-Based Clinician to support children, youth, and families in the Illinois Pathways to Success program. The clinician provides short-term behavioral health services in clients' homes and communities, with telehealth when permitted.

The role involves developing assessment-informed plans, delivering therapy to reduce symptoms, and offering clinical direction to IHBS staff.

Qualifications

• Meets Illinois QMHP or LPHA requirements (education, licensure, supervision).
• MSW/MA in related field from an accredited institution.
• Entry-level to early-career clinicians welcome.
• Knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, crisis prevention, and care coordination.
• Ability to build relationships with children, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Willingness to complete Blue Kite Wellness and Illinois Pathways training.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive Home-Based clinical services to children, youth, and families participating in the Illinois Pathways to Success program.
• Develop and update individualized clinical interventions from assessments and team input.
• Deliver individual, family, and caregiver interventions to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.
• Help caregivers strengthen communication, problem-solving, coping, emotional regulation, and behavior management.
• Provide clinical direction to IHBS staff and supervise as you develop proficiency.
• Collaborate with caregivers, care coordinators, schools, and other providers.
• Monitor progress, safety concerns, and adjust interventions with supervision.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in supervision and trainings.
