Job summary

Blue Kite Wellness is seeking an Intensive Home-Based Clinician I to support children, youth, and families in Alton, IL. This role delivers short-term behavioral health services in clients’ homes and communities, with telehealth when allowed, and collaborates with Care Coordinators and schools.

You'll provide assessment-informed interventions, develop plans, and supervise IHBS staff while using MAP-informed and other approved approaches. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Meets current Illinois requirements for QMHP or LPHA qualifications.
• Master’s degree in a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Entry-level to early-career clinical experience welcome.
• Foundational knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, client engagement, family intervention, crisis prevention, de-escalation, documentation, and care coordination.
• Ability to work independently in home and community settings with clinical team support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive Home-Based Clinical services to children, youth, and families.
• Develop and update individualized clinical interventions using IM+CANS, FBA, and family input.
• Deliver individual, family, and caregiver interventions focused on reducing symptoms and improving family functioning.
• Help caregivers strengthen communication, problem-solving, coping, and behavioral-management skills.
• Provide clinical direction to IHBS staff with supervision and consultation as you develop proficiency.
• Collaborate with caregivers, Care Coordinators, schools, crisis-response providers, and other team members.
• Support crisis prevention, safety planning, de-escalation, and post-crisis follow-up.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions in consultation with the supervisor and care team.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in supervision, case consultation, and trainings.
