Job summary

The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH seeks an Intensive Home-Based Counselor/ Social Worker to deliver IHBT services to youth and families in their community. You will assess risk, coordinate with caregivers, and tailor interventions to cultural needs.

You will provide crisis support, participate in supervision and team meetings, and schedule therapeutic sessions with families, adapting acuity as needs change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required; master's preferred.
• Active Ohio LSW, LPC or MFT license is required.
• Experience as a Social Worker, Counselor, Therapist or Clinician is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify trauma history and risk factors affecting youth and family dynamics.
• Schedule and conduct therapeutic counseling sessions with individuals and families.
• Engage caregivers and coordinate referrals for more intensive or specialized services.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and document incidents promptly.
