Maxim Healthcare in East Bay is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults who have developmental delays and challenging behaviors. You will deliver one-to-one behavioral intervention, support daily living skills, and collect data to track progress under a Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience working with children/adults with special needs.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Support daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive and behavioral areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
