Maxim Healthcare Services in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least one year working with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children (in person) or willingness to obtain.
• TB test updated within past 90 days (or willingness to get).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and ambulation as needed.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals in the Behavior Support Plan.
