Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role focuses on one-to-one behavioral intervention and helping clients with daily living skills, personal care, and crisis support.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; college coursework in related fields is preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience with children/adults with special needs preferred.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor skills.
• Help with personal care tasks including bathing, meals, dressing and mobility.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals per the Behavior Support Plan.
