Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The position offers $25 - $28 per hour and weekly paychecks, with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities include one-to-one behavioral interventions, data collection, and support with daily living skills; the role may involve personal care tasks and crisis intervention as needed, in a clinical or home-care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year working with individuals with special needs and challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor skills.
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, meal prep and feeding.
• Implement and track data on behaviors and goals per the Behavior Support Plan.
