Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Petaluma, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role offers flexible scheduling (PT and FT) with competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include delivering one-to-one behavior interventions, collecting data, and supporting daily activities across self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor skills, under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience with children/adults with special needs is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Child or willing to get.
• TB test updated within past 90 days or willing to get.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, hygiene, meals, dressing and ambulation as needed.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
