Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination for transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate models across architecture, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You will drive CADD/BIM standards, mentor staff across offices, and ensure data handoff with clients and subconsultants. This role is based in US offices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked model.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks; lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes and enforces CADD/BIM standards, templates, workflows across offices.
• Mentors and trains production staff to build repeatable, institutional capability.
• Interfaces with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements and data handoff standards.
• Performs related engineering support tasks and checks model integrity and versioning.
