Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to support transit and multimodal projects. Based in the US, you will integrate models across architecture, structures, transportation, roadway design and MEP into federated, clash-checked deliverables.

Responsibilities include coordinating across disciplines, running clash detection in Navisworks, establishing CADD/BIM standards, mentoring staff, and ensuring model health and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in basic CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination of intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks; lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor and train production staff and coordinate model health and interoperability.
• Interface with clients/subconsultants on model deliverable requirements and data handoff.
