Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced CADD/BIM Specialist to coordinate intelligent models across architecture, transportation structures, and MEP for transit projects. You will lead clash detection, enforce BIM standards, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality, federated models through the project lifecycle.

Applicants should have a high school diploma with CADD training, 12 years of related experience, and willingness to travel for project needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training in intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM for transit/m multimodal projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows per Autodesk and DOT criteria.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for final drawings.
• Coordinate model deliverables with clients, agencies, and subconsultants.
