Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to join our team in the United States. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 12 years of related experience, strong knowledge of Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Revit, and the ability to train staff across offices. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated model.
• Model coordination & clash detection using Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes, documents, and enforces CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows per Autodesk stack.
• Mentors and guides production staff across offices.
• Performs crosschecks of drawings for consistency with guidelines and QA/QC standards.
• Provides CADD/technical support including model health, versioning, and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
