Ascendion is seeking three senior Firmware Software Engineers to support and maintain the Live creation experience, focusing on production support, on-call coverage, bug fixes, and small feature changes. You will work across web and backend systems in a large codebase and operate independently with limited direction, owning production issues end-to-end from triage to fix.

Nice-to-have: live video, streaming, or real-time media systems; GraphQL experience.

• Proven ability to work independently in a large, unfamiliar codebase with minimal direction, including knowing when to escape.

Title: Firmware Software Engineer V

Location: Remote

Job Description

• We are looking for three senior software engineers to support and maintain the our Live creation experience.
• This role is focused on production support and oncall coverage for Live creation surfaces, along with the bug fixes, stability work, and small feature changes that come out of it.
• You will work across web and backend systems in a large, mature codebase, and you will be expected to operate independently with limited day to day direction.
• This a hands on role for someone who is comfortable owning production issues end to end: triaging an alert, tracing the problem across services, shipping the fix, and closing the loop.

Responsibilities

Thanks

Salary Range: $2,08,000 - 2,18,000 Annually -Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
