Job summary

Ascendion is seeking three senior Firmware Software Engineers to support and maintain the Live creation experience, focusing on production support, on-call coverage, bug fixes, and small feature changes. You will work across web and backend systems in a large codebase and operate independently with limited direction, owning production issues end-to-end from triage to fix.

Nice-to-have: live video, streaming, or real-time media systems; GraphQL experience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work independently in a large, unfamiliar codebase with minimal direction, including knowing when to escape.
• On-call production support and bug-fix mindset.
• Experience with live video, streaming, or real-time media systems.
• Experience with GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve issues spanning web frontend and backend services in the Live creation stack.
• Document findings and fixes so knowledge stays with the team.
