Ascendion is seeking a Software Engineer to develop high-quality software, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and stay updated on latest technologies. The role focuses on building robust RESTful APIs, clean code, and contributing to Agile processes.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years of web tech experience, knowledge of PostgreSQL, microservices, and cloud platforms, plus Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and related technologies.

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-quality software. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean code, and staying updated on the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$90,000-100,000 annually]/[$50.00-55.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
