Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Systems Engineer contractor to support the rollout of manufacturing test software for a satellite component project. You will coordinate between software developers, hardware engineers, and production floor teams to ensure test systems deploy smoothly across about 20 stations.

Join an established team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where coordination, automation, and problem solving are essential. 3+ years in systems/test engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, test engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with test systems development and software/hardware integration testing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software/hardware integration testing and debugging.
• Coordinate and execute software deployment across multiple manufacturing test stations.
• Complete station commissioning activities including Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Built-In Self-Test (BIST) validation
• Support and organize station qualification and release for production use.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds.
