Job summary

TSC in Huntsville, AL seeks an Integrated Product Team Lead/Project Engineer to drive multi-disciplinary RF sensor programs for precision weapons and EW domains. This leadership role requires shaping requirements, schedules, and deliverables while coordinating with customers and engineering teams.

You will oversee design, development, testing, and production transition of RF sensor products, mentor engineers, and ensure program milestones are met within a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or applied science.
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership on hardware development projects.
• Radar and/or electronic warfare product development experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain SECRET DoD clearance.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, test, and production transition of RF sensor products.
• Capture and document system requirements, current products and technologies, and industry solutions to help architect solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Program Management to scope and schedule work, manage technical risks, and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Support technical engagement with the customer to solve mission challenges, evaluate technical feasibility, and understand risks.
• Work within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions.
• Frequent collaboration with the technical team to track design progress, manage trade-offs, mentor juniors, and support test/debug.
• Work with Program Management to manage development tasking and schedule for the overall system and subsystems.
• Work with Production to develop production level requirements to ensure manufacturability and sustainability.
• Support Engineering Management by executing and improving best practices processes.
• Analyze measured data from lab or field testing and compare to expected performance.
• Lead by example to enforce systems engineering processes and methodologies.
