Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior RF Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate advanced RF and microwave systems for sensor, seeker, and signal generation applications within aerospace and defense programs.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, utilize VNA and spectrum analyzers, and perform testing across the design lifecycle, preparing technical reports and customer presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in RF, microwave, radar, electronic warfare, communications, or related RF engineering fields.
• Know ledge of RF and microwave theory, components, circuits, and system architectures.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and integrating RF/microwave systems and hardware.
• Proficiency in RF laboratory testing and measurement techniques.
• Experience using RF test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters.
• Ability to interpret test data and develop engineering solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support characterization, analysis, and development of RF signal generation systems for aerospace, defense, and sensor applications.
• Design, develop, and evaluate RF/microwave systems and hardware components.
• Perform RF system analysis, modeling, prototyping, integration, and testing across the product lifecycle.
• Develop RF hardware designs including transmitters, receivers, frequency conversion circuits, filters, amplifiers, oscillators, and antenna components.
• Conduct laboratory and field testing to verify performance against requirements.
• Utilize RF test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
