Job summary

GE Aerospace in Indianapolis seeks a Combustor and Structural Parts Design Resident Engineer to lead site engineering activities for CSC, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to improve producibility, quality, and on-time engine delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site engineering representative in Indianapolis for CSC, linking engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality.
• Partner with shops, suppliers and design teams to improve producibility and manufacturing readiness.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support to integrate design and manufacturing across CSC hardware.
• Execute design, analysis and technical evaluation of mechanical projects per product requirements and standards.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and drive technical guidance and execution.
