Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to drive producibility and manufacturability for complex aerospace components and assemblies in Edison Works Advanced Programs. You will partner with Design Engineering to reduce cost, risk, and improve readiness while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage integrated schedules, and engage suppliers and internal GE shops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma with 4+ years in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical, etc)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or Business Operations
• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% as needed

Responsibilities

• Leads advanced manufacturing methods including machining, laser/ECM/EDM, welding, fabrication, composites, inspection, ceramics, and additive.
• Develops process methods, tooling and fixtures; programs and runs production.
• Implements Design for Producibility with Design Engineering and evaluates manufacturability from drawings.
