Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in aerospace propulsion, engine systems, or closely related mechanical system design/integration roles.
• This role requires US citizenship and eligibility for US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts component and product integration across multiple components and products for maximum performance and operability.
• Facilitates technical forums and engineering review cycles with clear messaging and quality records.
• Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down.
• Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
• Defines product requirements for modules, components, subcontractors, and partner teams.
• Manages interface between components and execution organizations.
• Drives CTQ / risk trades within teams designing the components.
• Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
• Develops specialized knowledge and serves as best practice resource.
• Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
