The Combustor and Structural Parts Design Resident Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet strategic business needs, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy in for the combustor and structural parts commodity. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with the CSC (Combustor and Structures Components) Value Stream counterparts to improve the producibility, quality, and delivery of combustor and structural parts. Qualified candidates for this hands‑on role will identify areas of improvements to both GE processes and procedures in the areas of Engineering, supply chain quality, and manufacturing.
This role is for Engineer in the shop (EIS) role located at in Indianapolis that will be reporting to an Integrated Manufacturing CSC Sub Section Manager based in West Chester, Ohio.
