Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, seeks a Full-time PsyD, PhD, or LICSW to join our Integrated Behavioral Medicine team in Milford, MA. On-site 2-3 days per week is required.

As a member of Optum Care Delivery, you’ll have clinical resources and support to help patients live healthier lives. The role emphasizes collaborative care with primary care and behavioral health teams, using evidence-based therapies.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in integrated primary care model.
• Minimum 3 years practice experience.
• Knowledge of health psychology or behavioral medicine is preferred.
• Experience with substance use and addiction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule is determined by the hiring manager.
• Electronic equipment for telehealth and remote work is included.
• Provide treatment for primary care patients with behavioral health disorders, co-occurring medical conditions, and mild substance use disorders.
• Use of evidence-based treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) is preferred.
• Help create and implement treatment plans with behavioral medicine team, primary care, or specialist.
