Job summary

Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY is seeking an HR professional to administer leaves of absence and manage ADA processes for all locations. The role coordinates LOA/return-to-work and collaborates with claim administrators to minimize lost time, while delivering HR programs to all employees.

Responsibilities include maintaining ADA records, guiding employees and managers, and supporting a customer-focused, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with leave of absence administration including disability, FMLA, ADA and paid family leave or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.

• Serves as an HR team member in delivering HR programs and services to Kaleida employees.

Education And Credentials

Associate's degree or 2-3 years of relatable work experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience

2 years experience with leave of absence administration including disability, FMLA, ADA and paid family leave or a related field with exposure to workers' compensation and/or medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a commitment to a customer-focused, quality-driven environment. Ability to function effectively in a team environment. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet applications.
