Job summary

Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY is seeking an HR professional to administer leaves of absence and manage ADA processes for all locations. The role coordinates LOA/return-to-work and collaborates with claim administrators to minimize lost time, while delivering HR programs to all employees.

Responsibilities include maintaining ADA records, guiding employees and managers, and supporting a customer-focused, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with leave of absence administration including disability, FMLA, ADA and paid family leave or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities

• Administers the leave of absence including absences related to WC, DBL, FMLA, PFL, LOA, and return to work programs.
• Oversees the ADA program and maintains ADA records and follow-up with ADA claim closures.
• Coordinates leave of absence and return to work for employees absent due to illness or injury; assists employees and managers with transitional return-to-work opportunities.
• Works closely with claim administrators to track and minimize lost time.
• Serves as an HR team member in delivering HR programs and services to Kaleida employees.
