Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Valuation & Capital Markets Analytics Manager to lead and deliver complex valuation engagements from proposal through completion. You will manage assignments and staff, and contribute to business development and appraisal reviews.

You will supervise VCMA senior associates and analysts, develop models and reports, and ensure quality controls while interacting with clients and internal teams across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field required.
• MBA preferred.
• Five to seven years of business valuation experience in a Big 4 or national firm required.
• Significant experience in business valuation and intangible assets required.
• Prior experience in financial reporting valuation and appraisal review.

Responsibilities

• Performs research on company, industry and economy.
• Analyzes client financial statements.
• Constructs financial models.
• Assesses operational profitability and financial conditions.
• Develops and reviews cash flow forecasts.
• Documents and maintains work product.
• Composes narratives and prepares exhibits for valuation analyses.
• Ensures quality controls on all work products.
• Participates in internal and external client meetings.
• Guides peers and staff on project plans and timelines.
• Other duties as required.
