Job summary

BDO USA in Los Angeles seeks a Valuation & Capital Markets Analytics Manager to lead and deliver challenging valuations, from proposals to completion. You will supervise VCMA staff, guide project plans, and participate in client meetings to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role requires 5–7 years of business valuation experience in a Big 4 or national firm, with CPA/CFA/ASA preferred. Strong Excel, Capital IQ and Bloomberg skills and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required.
• MBA preferred; professional credentials like CPA/CFA/ASA encouraged.
• 5–7 years of business valuation experience in Big 4 or national firm.
• Strong analytical, research and communication skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Excel; experience with Capital IQ and Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation engagements from proposal through delivery.
• Research company, industry and economic factors and analyze financial statements.
• Construct financial models and develop cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare exhibits and memos; ensure quality controls on work products.
• Manage VCMA staff, provide guidance and review work; support business development.
