Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Intake Specialist to assist individuals and families in connecting to resources, completing intake interviews, and coordinating services. The role involves data entry, maintaining client files, and scheduling appointments within a team-based program environment.

You will work with the Program Manager to ensure a comprehensive, client-centered approach, following program rules and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to conduct interviews and assess client needs.
• Familiarity with data entry and basic computer software.
• Must be able to schedule and manage appointments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain household information and record into software systems.
• Identify resources and coordinate services for clients.
• Perform data entry and maintain client files.
• Know program rules and follow guidelines.
• Answer inquiries and direct clients to appropriate staff.
