Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Experience in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment.
• Minimum of one year in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive referral calls, gather demographic information, and route or schedule assessments.
• Process requests for information and manage external referrals.
• Complete pre-certifications as required.
• Coordinate patient admissions with physicians and internal departments.
• Initiate insurance verification and collaborate with the business office.
• Process Releases of Information (ROI) per policy.
• Assist in obtaining medical records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate patient disposition and community resource planning.
• Communicate with Treatment Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct patient assessments and contribute to diagnostic evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care (approx. 85% of role).
• Complete clinical documentation and participate in supervision activities.
