Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Intake Registered Nurse to join our team in the Grand Rapids area. The RN will perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments to help determine the appropriate level of care for potential patients.

Under the supervision of the Intake Director, you will coordinate referrals and the admission process, communicate with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff, and collaborate with the Business Office and UR department to verify benefits and

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required.
• Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Position Description
