Southridge Behavioral Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Registered Nurse Float to provide direct patient care across units under supervision. The role requires flexibility to shift focus with patient census and acuity in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, medication administration, and coordination of care with the health-care team. BLS certification and Michigan RN license are required; 5 years in behavioral health preferred.

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Float provides direct patient care across multiple units within the hospital as assigned, under the direction of the CNO, Nurse Manager, or Nursing Supervisor. This position is designed to meet the daily and changing needs of the nursing department, and assignments may vary based on patient census, acuity, and staffing requirements. The Float RN must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to shift focus throughout the shift as needs arise while maintaining safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
