Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and evaluate patient care in a psychiatric setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team and oversee Mental Health Technicians to ensure patient safety and needs are met.

Ideal candidates have a Michigan RN license and at least three years of psychiatric-specified experience; per diem hours offer flexible scheduling, with one weekend per month as a guide.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Position Description:

The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Hours and Location:

Flexible Per Diem options, but an ideal candidate should be comfortable with one weekend each month.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
