Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Claims processing background and medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming calls and enter referrals into the Utilization Management Unit.
• Verify eligibility, verify provider in network, and assist with admissions entry.
• Process authorizations and benefit coverage requests from providers.
• Support claim-related provider appeals.
• Maintain confidentiality of member records.
