Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an Intake Department.
• Experience in adult psychiatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain initial clinical information and relay to Charge Nurse or physician.
• Schedule clinical evaluations for clients.
• Determine appropriate level of care.
• Assist clients, families and referral sources to facilitate the process.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Inform clients, families and referral sources about treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures.
