Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Health seeks an Assessment & Referral Clinician (master's level and/or RN) to provide intake interviews, assess needs, and coordinate referrals for behavioral health services.

The role requires strong crisis intervention skills, insurance verification, and effective communication with clinical and administrative teams. PRN shifts may be available; supervision is provided.

Qualifications

• MS in a Behavioral Health field or Tennessee RN license is required.
• Experience in Behavioral Health assessment and/or treatment preferred.
• Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to determine appropriate level of care.
• Serve as client liaison and provide referrals (free initial consultation, direct admission, or outpatient).
• Coordinate insurance verification with the business office.
• Facilitate communications among clinical, nursing, business, and marketing staff.
• Handle high volume inquiries and manage intake appointments.
