University of Missouri, St. Louis is seeking a position in the Child Advocacy Center to conduct telephone intake interviews and secure necessary consents for clients in custody. The role includes referring clients to community resources and maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.

The incumbent will schedule initial appointments, manage waitlists, and maintain data in the electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with program criteria and funding sources.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related area and at least 1 year of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related social science field from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete telephone intake interviews with custodians of referred clients to assess suitability.
• Secure consent forms and releases for clients in custody.
• Refer clients to community services and resources as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Assign clients to appropriate funding sources based on criteria.
• Schedule and manage initial client appointments for clinicians.
• Maintain the client waitlist and scheduling as availability allows.
• Enter and manage data in the electronic health record system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager of clinical services.
