Job summary

The Salvation Army Midtown Services and Treatment Center in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Intake Coordinator to provide counseling, conduct intakes and assessments, and develop treatment plans.

This full-time role includes crisis intervention, safety planning, group therapy support, and referrals, with data entry into CIMOR/EHR and collaboration with the billing team to ensure timely admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Proficient with online billing software and databases (CIMOR a plus).
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Annual TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake/admission including gathering demographics, needs, strengths, drug history, and orientation to MSTC.
• Document new referrals accurately and promptly.
• Familiarize with CIMOR, EHR, and billing systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable guidelines.
• Coordinate with billing to ensure timely admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Enter data into EMR/CIMOR within required timeframes.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings and trainings.
