Qualifications

• Professional experience working with insurance or in a home health office.
• Excellent computer, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and accurately document new referrals.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and payer sources.
• Obtain and track insurance authorizations and certifications.
• Enter patient and referral information into the medical record.
• Coordinate with Nursing Supervisors and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Respond to agency and patient needs professionally.
