Job summary

Housing Works Emergency & Transitional Housing Program (ETH) seeks an Intake Coordinator to support reentry clients by managing referrals, waitlists, and admissions. This role reports to the Assistant Director and ensures accurate data entry and timely enrollment in the program.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and with teams. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care or non-profit settings is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage program referrals, waitlist and admission processes.
• Review referrals for eligibility and site placement.
• Coordinate with care teams for evaluation and level of care.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate data in EMR.
• Promote Housing Works values in daily operations.
