Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Massachusetts seeks a Central Intake Coordinator to be the first contact for individuals seeking behavioral health services. You’ll provide compassionate, professional support to individuals, families, and referral sources, connecting them to BHN programs and resources.
You will verify insurance, schedule intake and medication appointments, and coordinate with BHN staff to ensure timely follow-up and smooth transitions.

Work Schedule-Part-time hours offered- Mon -8am-4:30pm, & for the rest of the week it will vary from 8am-1pm or 1-6pm. it depends on the coverage needed.

Minimum of 2 years’ related experience.Call Center or Intake experience preferred.Experience verifying insurances preferred.Must have knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders and treatment, including severely mentally ill.Excellent computer skills, including email and database systems.Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience helpful.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
