Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking an Intake Coordinator for their Central Intake team in Western Massachusetts. The role involves engaging individuals to answer intake and medication questions, verifying insurance, collecting copayments, and coordinating intake scheduling and admissions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (associate's/bachelor's preferred), 2+ years of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service experience.
• Familiarity with intake processes and medication-related inquiries.
• Ability to verify insurance and collect copayments.
• Experience with database and form completion processes.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals to answer intake and medication questions professionally.
• Navigate intake and medication databases and ensure forms are completed.
• Verify insurance and collect payments in a timely manner.
• Communicate admission-related information and expectations.
• Schedule intake appointments at referral and follow-up medication appointments.
