Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking an Intake Coordinator in Grand Rapids, MI to support patients by assessing needs, coordinating care levels, and managing insurance and funding information. You will collect information for clinicians and maintain accurate records with compassionate service in a diverse workplace.

Requirements include a High School diploma and at least one year of related experience; a Bachelor of Social Work may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; a Bachelor of Social Work may be required.
• Minimum one year of related work experience to direct workflow.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer-friendly environment.
• Perform general office duties including reception and filing.
• Screen calls and refer to community resources.
• Maintain program documentation and records.
• Coordinate tours, site visits, and admission dates.
• May complete admission paperwork.
• Handle crisis calls professionally.
• Enter client information into medical records.
• Set up payment plans or funding as appropriate.
