Job summary

ORTC, LLC in Eugene, OR seeks an Intake Coordinator / OHP Assistor to provide compassionate care to our clients. The role manages intake requests, admissions coordination, and OHP assistance, helping clients navigate Oregon health coverage.

Salary is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, with relocation assistance and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off. Hours are 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OHP Assistor training/certification required.
  • Strong communication, customer service, organization and data-entry skills.
  • Basic computer and standard office equipment skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Meet Oregon requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • Follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming appointment requests, referrals, transfers, and pre-intake screenings for new clients.
  • Coordinate admissions, including scheduling, obtaining records, verifying insurance, and following up on no-shows.
  • Assist clients with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) eligibility, applications, renewals, and required follow-up.
  • Help clients navigate the Oregon ONE Eligibility System and understand available health coverage.
  • Verify private insurance and explain applicable co-pays and out-of-pocket costs.
  • Build and maintain client charts, consents, ROIs, admission paperwork, and other required documentation.
  • Orient new clients to the program and connect them with transportation and other community resources when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation throughout the intake and OHP assistance process.

Description

West Eugene Treatment Center is seeking an Intake Coordinator / OHP Assistor to provide compassionate care to our clients.

$22.00hr-$26.00hr Depending on experience

Relocation Assistance Provided!

Our treatment center hours are: 5:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. M-F and 6:00 - 10:00 a.m. on rotating Saturdays.

What does this role look like?

  • Basic computer and standard office equipment skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Meet Oregon requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
