Job summary

MedScope, a division of Medical Guardian, is hiring for the Customer Intake Department. The role involves inputting new orders received by phone, fax, or email, verifying order details, and updating customer records in our customized system.

Candidates must handle confidential health information under HIPAA, work 9:00am–5:00pm ET full-time, and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Tech skills include Microsoft Office and 40 WPM typing.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in healthcare related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must complete a successful background check and FBI fingerprint.
• Ability to adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor queues for Intake communications and data entry of new orders and updates.
• Verify information on order forms and correct records as needed.
• Navigate healthcare portals to locate information for processing orders.
• Enter data into the company system and update customer records.
• Cancel services when appropriate and manage customer records.
