Job summary

MedScope (a division of Medical Guardian) is hiring for a Customer Intake role focused on inputting new orders received via phone, fax, or email, verifying information and communicating with customers or referring sources. The position requires HIPAA compliance and daily data entry in our customized system.

You will navigate healthcare portals, update records, and collaborate with multiple departments. This is a full-time, on-site role with a 9:00am-5:00pm ET schedule and an hourly pay of $21.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in healthcare related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications required
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must complete a successful background check and FBI fingerprint
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM
• Must complete daily tasks assigned
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to adapt to changes

Responsibilities

• Monitoring queues for Intake communication: new orders, updates to records, cancellations.
• Read communications to determine actions before entering data.
• Navigate healthcare portals to find information needed to process orders
• Identify missing/incorrect information and take steps to correct it
• Make changes to existing customer records and cancel service when needed
• Answer phone calls and emails daily
