Job summary

The Lighthouse Mission is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join the Recovery Program Services team. This full-time role focuses on residents entering services, coordinating screening and intake, and providing case management while maintaining accurate records.

The position supports a Christ-centered workplace and collaborates with shelter operations and program staff. Flexibility is required for rotating weekend schedules and occasional evenings, holidays, or after-hours work to support

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in social services, working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and/or in the rescue mission environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and applicants with intake paperwork and screening for Recovery Programs.
• Maintain accurate resident records in the database and follow up on missing information.
• Conduct background screenings for program compatibility.
• Coordinate intake and orientation with Program Directors, including drug screenings and security access.
• Foster a welcoming, Christ-centered environment and connect residents with program resources.
• Provide individualized case management and monitor progress toward program goals.
• Complete timely case notes, assessments, and required documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and communicate concerns to Directors.
• Assist with accountability tasks and community referrals.
• Represent LMM in partnerships and community meetings.
